A traditional water heater stores a limited supply of hot water. The Adapt®+ from State Water Heaters heats water on demand, allowing your household to enjoy long showers and back-to-back hot water use without waiting for a tank to refill.
This 199,000 BTU model can provide up to 10.5 gallons of hot water per minute under ideal conditions. Actual output depends on incoming water temperature, your temperature setting, and how many fixtures are used at once.

The built-in recirculation pump can reduce how long you wait for hot water to reach your fixtures. Its performance depends on your plumbing layout and whether compatible return plumbing is available.
The Adapt®+ also reduces the standby energy loss associated with keeping a tank of water hot. Its condensing design captures heat from the exhaust and uses it to help heat your water, contributing to its 0.95 Uniform Energy Factor.

Water minerals can build up in a tankless water heater and reduce heat transfer. X3® Scale Prevention Technology helps prevent minerals from bonding to the heat exchanger, supporting consistent performance and longer system life.

Is the State Adapt®+ Right for Your Home?
Tankless water heaters must be sized for the amount of hot water your household uses at one time. Our plumbers evaluate your household size, number of bathrooms, incoming groundwater temperature, fixture flow rates, gas supply, venting, and plumbing layout before recommending installation.
Professional State Tankless Water Heater Installation
Installing a tankless water heater may require changes to the gas supply, venting, water lines, electrical connection, and condensate drainage. Our licensed and insured plumbers inspect your current setup, remove the existing water heater, install and test the Adapt®+, and explain its controls and maintenance requirements.

The State Adapt®+ STHR-199X3 100 includes a 15-year limited heat exchanger warranty and a 5-year limited parts warranty. When we install your new tankless water heater, our local plumbing team registers the applicable warranties for you.

The State Adapt®+ can provide up to 10.5 gallons of hot water per minute under ideal conditions. At a 67°F temperature rise, State rates the system at 5.9 gallons per minute.
Does the State Adapt®+ Provide Instant Hot Water?
The system provides continuous hot water, but water must still travel through the pipes to reach each fixture. Its built-in recirculation pump can reduce the wait when the home has compatible plumbing.
Does the State Adapt®+ Need Maintenance?
Yes. Professional maintenance supports safe, efficient operation, even with built-in scale prevention. Service needs depend on water quality, household use, installation conditions, and manufacturer recommendations.
Can the State Adapt®+ Replace a Tank Water Heater?
The Adapt®+ can replace many traditional gas water heaters, but the conversion may require changes to the gas line, venting, plumbing, electrical connection, or condensate drainage. Logan Services will inspect these systems before recommending installation.
