A sophisticated control board governs the entire system and determines whether to use the heat pump or gas furnace for heating based on outdoor conditions. When temps drop below 30°F, the gas furnace kicks in to deliver heating the efficient way it always has. This hybrid heating approach keeps your home cozy all winter while maximizing savings.
