Q: What were you doing before making a career change?

A: Quality & Safety Manager for a local steel supplier.

Q: What were your top 3 fears of making a career change?

A: Lack of HVAC knowledge, leaving a career of almost 10 years to start over, and taking a large pay cut to start a new career.

Q: What steps did you take to overcome that fear?

A: I finally realized that if I didn’t put my fears aside and make a career change I was going to continue to work in a career that I disliked and cause enormous amounts of stress. I ventured out of my comfort zone to start a new career working in HVAC to learn a valuable trade that would benefit me for the rest of my life. 

Q: How has the decision to start a career in HVAC impacted your life?

A: I have learned a valuable trade that will last a lifetime. I have also found a career path that I enjoy and utilizes my strengths.

Q: What do you love most about your HVAC career?

A: I love that I am able to utilize my mechanical strengths and work with my hands to provide a valuable service to the customer. 

Q: What do you love most about Logan Services?

A: I love that Logan Services is like a family, everybody knows everybody and are treated as part of the family. 

Q: What words of advice can you give someone considering a career change?

A: The best advice I can give is to think about what makes you happy and put forth the effort it takes to get you there.
