We are happy to announce a winner for our 4th Annual Furnace Giveaway for Flyers Fans! After receiving hundreds of entries from UD Flyers Fans around the Dayton area, we are excited to announce our winner of the free Trane furnace.

When Julie saw the giveaway featured on her UD Flyers Gameday app, she decided to go ahead and try her luck. With their furnace being 31 years old, she knew it was time to see if they could win a brand new Trane furnace to help with comfort and efficiency in their home.
Julie entered our Furnace Giveaway for Flyers Fans contest with a furnace on its last leg. In her entry, Julie wrote, “Our furnace is less than half as old as us, but it seems to moan and groan more than us and be less trustworthy than us. I’m not sure it will make it through this basketball season! Then we’ll only have our LOVE to keep us warm!“
The Logan Services team was so excited to give them the call that Julie and her husband had won a new Trane furnace – FREE OF COST!
After countless repairs and technicians telling them that the furnace may not last much longer, they were looking for something they could trust. Julie and her husband knew their furnace was approaching the end of its lifespan and were worried it might not make it through the weather.
When our team went to their home to assess the type/size of furnace they would need, our team also learned that they had an old air conditioner that would not be compatible with their new furnace. So, this lucky couple was also gifted a new FREE TRANE AIR CONDITIONER to go with the new furnace. This new HVAC system will ensure their home stays comfortable during all seasons.
Julie and Bill also shared how deep their UD Flyers fandom is; she wrote, “I met my husband, Bill, on a blind date to a UD football game at Bauman Field 58 years ago. We went to many other games, but mostly basketball games at UD Fieldhouse. Shortly after we were married, Bill began fulfilling his Army active duty. After a short stay in Dayton, we moved several times for the next seven years. By then, we wanted to return to Dayton with our four kids. Along with buying a new house, we also bought UD basketball season tickets. Our loyalty to the Flyers spread to our four kids and keeps spreading to our grandkids.“
