CONGRATULATIONS to Mike M. of Lancaster!
Over 500 Buckeyes fans entered our 2025 A/C Giveaway, and one deserving winner was selected! Meet Mike M. of Lancaster, whose story of resilience and service captured our hearts — and who now has a brand-new Trane system to keep his family comfortable year-round.
AC In Need Of Replacement
Mike’s 17-year-old air conditioner was on its last leg and bringing all kinds of headaches to his family. And when it comes to home comfort, you want it to be problem-free! Mike stated, “Our A/C unit’s coolant line randomly got a hole in it due to electrical lines that rubbed the outer coating off of them, arching the coolant line.”
On top of the broken coolant line, Mike and his family also had other hardships to deal with.
Mike told us that he is a veteran who has been a stay-at-home dad for nine years due to certain circumstances after serving in Iraq. With his wife working full-time to support the family, a new air conditioner was still not in the budget. By choosing Mike as our winner, we are not only providing a family with home comfort, but we’re proudly honoring a local hero and veteran as well.
The System Installation
On April 18th, one of our Comfort Consultants, Jeff, went out to Mike’s house to conduct an analysis of his home and current system. This allows our team to provide Mike with an efficient and smooth installation. During the consultation, Jeff was able to get to know Mike and his family a little more. Jeff learned that this family has had to overcome many unforeseen circumstances as of late, all while supporting their son’s dream of swimming – something he will be pursuing in college.

On April 23rd, our installers got to work and installed Mike’s brand-new Trane air conditioner.
After the initial consultation with Jeff, it was decided that this family would get more than an air conditioner…
They received a FREE furnace as well! After further inspection of the family’s HVAC systems, it was necessary to update their furnace as well. When Jeff informed them that they would be receiving a furnace as well, he was met with genuine gratitude.

Words From Our Winner
Mike had this to say about his experience:
“I entered for a chance to win a free air conditioner since our unit had a major malfunction last August and thought that I was highly unlikely likely to win. However there’s always a chance. And what do you know I got a phone call telling me that we have won the unit. We were in shock and extremely grateful to having been chosen for this unit. Jeff from Logan Services came out last Friday to take a look at our deceased ac unit and to “look at our furnace to make sure that the Trane AC unit would work with our existing Carrier furnace“. Jeff asked if I could have my wife meet us in kitchen so that he could tell her about the process of installation of the new AC unit and see if she has any questions. That was a well played move to get both of us together to actually tell us that Logan Services is replacing our entire heating and air conditioning units. Needless to say we were in shock, beyond grateful and in tears by Logan’s generosity. This was not the end of the AMAZING things that we were experiencing from Logan Services. We can not adequately express how much we appreciate the highly skilled, kind the Installation team consisting of PJ, Justin and Ayden. They all deserve to be recognized for their hard work and outstanding service. We have had the new unit on now for twenty four hours and what a tremendous difference it is already making. The two bedrooms that are above the garage and have always been hot in the spring and summer and very cold in the winter are now at the exact same temperature as the rest of the house. Logan Services and the Trane ac/furnace are the way to go.”
