The Logan A/C & Heat Services team is a proud HVAC sponsor of Ohio State Athletics. We were so excited to make some more Buckeyes fans comfy with a brand new Trane furnace for their home.
We received hundreds of entries from Buckeyes fans and as much as we would love to give them all a free furnace, we could only pick one contestant.
Congratulations to Chuck H. of Powell, Ohio! He is our 2023 Spring Winner of the Big Furnace Giveaway for Buckeyes Fans contest.
Chuck and his wife, recently moved to Powell. They’ve spent the last year making updates to their home. Knowing that the HVAC system was 17+ years old, they didn’t want to leave their home comfort up to chance. Instead, they decided to make sure they got seasonal maintenance performed on the system so they could help prevent an untimely breakdown from happening. Still, they knew that time wasn’t necessarily on their HVAC system’s side. 17 years is a long time for an ac and heating system to be in operation. Chuck told us that he was concerned with the loud noises coming from his old furnace. They made him worry about whether the furnace was going to continue running (especially on colder days).
Having these concerns, Chuck signed up for the Logan A/C and Heat Services’ Big Furnace Giveaway. Through a sponsorship with Ohio State Athletics, this is a contest Logan Services offers to help one lucky Buckeyes fan stay comfortable throughout the season by providing a new furnace (including installation) free of charge.
The team at Logan Services was thrilled to read Chuck’s entry: “This day and age things aren’t built and manufactured as they were back in the day! Seeing that our system is 17 years old it could be time for a new more energy efficient system. We need to stay on top of the game just like our BUCKEYES stay on top of their game! We need a new system so that we can stay cool or warm throughout the 2023 season and into 2024 for the National Title! GO BUCKS and GO LOGAN A/C & HEAT SERVICES!!!!!”
When the contest ended, Chuck got a phone call. He was told that he was the winner of the new Trane furnace. We were absolutely delighted when meeting Chuck. He’s one of the nicest, most appreciative, and most authentic fans we’ve ever met. To Chuck’s surprise, our comfort consultant told him that he would also be receiving a Trane air conditioner to match the new furnace. This air conditioner was included with the prize, making Chuck’s home a comfortable place to watch Buckeyes games – no matter the season.
