To celebrate our 10th year of HVAC giveaways, Logan Services is proud to be honoring local heroes and thanking our first responders with a free heating or cooling system for the sacrifices they have made and continue to make for the communities they serve.
Our next local hero to be the recipient of a new, free HVAC system is…
Derek Dennehy from Xenia!
Nominated by his wife, Jeannine, we learned why Derek is a hero in his community and a great winner for our giveaway. In her contest entry, Jeannine told us…
“Derek is a Firefighter/Paramedic for the city of Xenia. He loves giving back to our community by more than just serving through his work. He has volunteered for local homeless shelters, dedicated countless hours to serving as President of Xenia YRC baseball organization in an effort to restore it, all while being an awesome husband and father to his 5 children. Derek is always there when anybody needs him; he is a humble, hard worker with a heart of gold.”
The team at Logan Services was able to help Derek and his family find comfort in their home again; we replaced their 20+ year old furnace AND air conditioner with a brand new, complete Trane HVAC system!
We caught up with Derek after the installation of his new heating and cooling system; he told us that everything went great, and he was still trying to let it all sink in that this wonderful thing had happened for his family!
The Dennehy family shared that they were very thankful for their new system. We learned that previously with their old HVAC system, there were multiple hot and cold areas of the home (2 of the kids bedrooms) that would have a hard time keeping comfortable temperature. Now with the new, upgraded system, they are already noticing a difference in comfort throughout the home, and especially in these former hot/cold areas.
Derek told us, “We are so grateful to have been selected for this giveaway. My wife and I were looking online for coupons to tune up our old, unreliable air conditioner when we saw the giveaway on the Logan Services website. My wife decided to enter our family for it because we definitely needed to replace our furnace and air conditioner, and I’m so glad that she did! Thank you so much!”
We commend Derek for his amazing service to his community, and we know that the support he receives from his family plays an important role as well!
