Logan Services is an animal-loving company. As you can imagine, we see many different pets in the multiple homes we visit throughout the year. We believe that animals should be as comfortable as the humans that care for them, and this time, we took it a step further!
We are excited to share that we teamed up with Mitsubishi Electric and Carr Supply to help a local dog rescue, Fred’s Mission Rescue and Sanctuary, in the Cincinnati-Colerain area.
Fred’s Rescue has been rescuing dogs since 2018, when Amy, the owner, and founder, retired and decided to make her mission to find homes for animals in need. She fosters dogs that have been neglected, abused, abandoned, or have special needs. Within the past two years, Fred’s Rescue has adopted out more than 450 dogs in the Cincinnati area.
How Did Logan Services Get Involved?
When we experienced the colder temperatures and inclement weather earlier this year, Amy took in several more dogs. She realized they were running out of room, so she converted her multi-car garage into dog kennels. She asked Logan A/C and Heat Services to help condition that space to help keep the animals comfortable as they transition.

What Services Did Logan Provide?
We reached out to our manufacturing partner at Mitsubishi Electric and our distributor, Carr Supply, to join forces for this great cause. After seeing all of the great work Amy does to help animals (and people), Logan Services decided to donate and install a Mitsubishi Electric ductless heating and cooling system in the garage — free of charge. Our installation team installed one unit to heat AND cool the entire space. It was so important to us that these dogs stay comfortable, and proper conditioning will allow for safe storage of supplies.
Why A Mitsubishi Electric Ductless System?
Mitsubishi ductless systems are highly efficient, so they are low cost for Fred’s Rescue to operate. This system will also heat and cool the space without taking up much room, ensuring the animals will stay comfortable during any season. Mitsubishi ductless systems also operate super quietly to keep the dog’s anxiety low and comfortable as they transition to a new place with new people and dogs.
