We learned from Maggie that her family’s 26 year old furnace had been struggling for quite a while. The furnace was very unreliable, constantly having issues with the pilot light staying lit, causing the family to fret over the next time the system would stop working, potentially for good.
In her entry, Maggie told us…
“We are just a hard working family of 2 parents and 5 kids. We don’t have a sob story to tell, just would love a new furnace! The cost isn’t something we can afford right now, with one child in college, one getting ready to go (a senior!) and little ones who depend on us. Our furnace isn’t efficient and we are stuck with high heating bills every month and constant repairs to keep it going “just one more year”. We are a pretty fun family and would be even more fun with a new furnace! Thank you for considering!

And “fun” they will be with their new Trane furnace! We were so excited to call Maggie to share the good news that her family had been selected as this year’s FREE FURNACE WINNER! She couldn’t believe it, telling us that she just stumbled upon the giveaway on Facebook and decided to try her luck — not thinking she would be our winner!
Maggie and Jay had their new Trane furnace installed in their home this week! We caught up with her after the install, and Maggie shared with us that our installation team was very friendly and efficient; their new Trane heating system is running perfectly and her family couldn’t be happier! They were so appreciative to receive such a gift.
