With a downward economy, for some families buying Christmas presents will be literally impossible this year. However, the children in our community were able to experience the spirit of Christmas. Logan Services is proud to announce that it again has sponsored the local “Shop with a Cop” program. Thanks to our police and fire departments, more than 30 children will be having a happy and memorable Christmas this year.

An area Wal-Mart store, with volunteer help of its employees prepared a pancake breakfast for the kids. After everyone’s bellies were full, police and firefighter volunteers escorted the children through the store to shop for themselves and for their families.

After shopping, kids got to visit Santa and have their picture taken. Officers say they were happy to make positive influences in these children’s lives.
