Some employees dream of the day their boss would be taken away and locked up. At Logan Services we were all very excited the day our boss, Jim Meyer was hauled away to jail. We had free reign of the office, but better yet, we knew Jim was doing something to bring comfort to many families. Jim was locked up for the Muscular Dystrophy Association! As the MDA held Jim as its “prisoner,” he raised money to help children who suffer from neuromuscular diseases.

Jim’s “bail money” will send children to MDA summer camp—a week of recreation geared to the children’s abilities. Jim’s assistance will also help purchase wheelchairs, leg braces, and communication devices, and funding will be available to families who attend group meetings to help cope with the challenges they face. The MDA continues its research seeking treatments and cures for more than 40 neuromuscular diseases. Logan Services is happy to support the efforts of this organization.
