“Win a Furnace” Contest
Official Rules

Contest Period:
Dates: October 17 – November 11, 2011

Grand Prize:
➢ IF THE NUMBER OF “LIKES” ON THE LOGAN SERVICES FACEBOOK PAGE REACHES 1,868, one (1) winner will receive a Trane XR95 gas OR propane furnace, featuring a four speed blower motor40” by 28” cabinet, self-diagnostic control, adaptive silicon nitride hot surface igniter, multi-port, in-shot burners, pre-painted, galvanized steel cabinet, cleanable filters, one piece heat exchanger with no welds, insulated blower cabinet, lifetime limited warranty of dual heat exchangers (with registration), 5-year limited warranty on functional parts (with registration), compatibility with Trane CleanEffects TFD models. Includes installation of furnace only. Does not include installation of any ductwork. Furnace and installation provided by Logan A/C & Heat Services, licensed, bonded and insured in the state of Ohio. Ohio license # 27844.

Value of the Grand Prize is $3,575 depending on labor requirements and size of BTU requirements.

• Winner will be notified via email or telephone.
• No substitution of prizes may be made.

• No Purchase Necessary.
• Must be 18 or older to enter and win.
• Enter on-line at www.facebook.com/loganservices by “liking” the page and completing the official entry form by 3:59:59 p.m. November 11, 2011.

Odds of Winning:
Odds of winning the Grand Prize are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.

Eligibility and participation:
No purchase or other valuable consideration required to participate. Void where prohibited by law.

Individuals must be 18 years or older as of October 17, 2011, to be eligible. Contest begins on Monday, October 17, 2011, and concludes on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 3:59:59 p.m. Employees and their immediate families or persons living in their households, of WBNS-10TV, Inc., The Ohio News Network, The Dispatch Printing Company, Logan Services and their advertising agencies, affiliates and/or subsidiaries of any of the above, are not eligible to enter or win.

Participants must reside in the state of Ohio.

Award of Prizes and Restrictions:
By entering the contest in the manner described above, or by claiming the prizes, all participants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules. All entries become the property of WBNS-10TV.

Prize Winner is subject to verification. Prize winner at the time of winning must provide their correct name, address, telephone number, and date of birth to WBNS-10TV. Verification will be by confirmation of the winner’s address, telephone number, and date of birth. Prize Winner is required to provide a valid state driver’s license or valid state Identification card, Passport, and/or birth certificate for verification (“Proper Identification”). Prizes must be collected by the prize winner only. Prizes may not be assigned or transferred. WBNS-10TV and its affiliates are not responsible for any contestant’s inability to make arrangements to take delivery of the prizes or prove eligibility.

By entering this Contest in the manner described above or by claiming a prize, all participants agree, to the greatest extent allowed by law, to release WBNS-10TV from any and all liability arising from any injury, death, loss or damage of any kind resulting from or in connection with any entry and/or participation in this Contest, or the award, acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize. Prize Winner will be required to execute an affidavit (release form), which releases WBNS-10TV from liability for any loss or damage or claim of property related to the Prize Winner’s participation in the contest and/or usage of the prize. Prize Winner will be required to provide their signature, full legal name, address, and city of residence, state of residence, zip code, telephone number, and social security number on the release form.

Prize Winner grants WBNS-10TV and its affiliates, full and unlimited permission to use the prize winner’s personality, including the prize winner’s name, likenesses, and voices for promotion and publicity purposes, including all advertising, promotions, news coverage, and features without further compensation. As a condition of winning, prize Winner agree to make themselves available to WBNS-10TV and its affiliates and parent company for interviews, photographs, and video recording.

Prize winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes due in connection with the prize. The Prize Winner will be required to fill out a 1099 tax form, which will be forwarded to the IRS.

WBNS-10TV will have no liability or responsibility for or related to the prizes and there are no warranties, representations or guarantees, express or implied, applicable to the Contest or the prizes.

If the prize Winner is not able to claim his or her prize within seven (7) days of notification, or if a Prize Winner fails to provide proper Identification and sign the appropriate releases, or if the announced Prize Winner is determined to be an ineligible participant, then in any such case WBNS-10TV shall declare the prize forfeited.

The decisions of WBNS-10TV, concerning any and all matters with respect to the Logan Services Furnace Giveaway and the awarding of the prizes shall be final. WBNS-10TV will not be responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or incomplete entries, for any electronic entries that are lost, stolen, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, deleted, late, delayed or garbled by any computer, Internet or network transmission, or as a result of any human error, equipment or programming associated with, or utilized, in this contest or the processing of any entries, or for any telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind. All blank, corrupted, or otherwise incomplete entries are automatically null and void.

WBNS-10TV reserves the right to disqualify any contestant tampering with the operation or conduct of the contest.

WBNS-10TV reserves the final judgment on all matters pertaining to this contest including the right to change or modify the rules, or to cancel or extend the contest without prior notice.

Any dispute that may arise regarding this contest is governed by the law of the State of Ohio and the exclusive forum for resolving any dispute related to the contest is in Franklin County, Ohio.
